Lippo Karawaci Joins UN Global Compact, Formalizing Commitment To Uphold Responsible Business Practices and Advance The UN Sustainable Development Goals

Jakarta, 29 August 2022 – PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk ("LPKR" or "Company"), Indonesia’s leading real estate and healthcare platform based on revenue, has pledged its commitment to the United Nations (UN) Global Compact as of August 2022. This formalizes the Company’s commitment to support the UN’s sustainability agenda, in line with its ongoing efforts to champion ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles in Indonesia’s real estate and healthcare sectors.

As the world’s largest corporate responsibility initiative, the UN Global Compact seeks to mobilize companies and organizations around the world to support the Compact’s Ten Principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, as well as take strategic actions to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Company joins a global network of over 15,000 signatories from more than 160 countries.
